B-TECH "Automatic movement systems" presents the intelligent hardware and accessories warehouse for furniture with pick to light system "LightPolar System
This system is designed to improve storage and production logistics thanks to its wide range of unique features, including the drastic reduction of order picking times.
The Polar Logic software transmits communication protocols and receives the list of collections to be made. A specialized PLC activates the corridor monitors and the numerical displays inside them with a defined sequence.
The numeric displays are very intuitive and are placed directly in the stock position, indicating the position of the items and the quantity to be collected.
After the collection the operator confirms and validates the operation by pressing the confirmation button positioned on the same display.
After a confirmation power-up, the display turns off allowing the next display to be switched on.
The picking operation continues from item to item until the pick list for that order is complete.
Once the collection is confirmed in the last item, the operator will display a message of order completion.
At the beginning of the preparation of an order and during the whole collection phase, the monitors in the aisle will show various information of this order number operating totally and partially the number of items to be collected
The pick-to-light system is used where a high collection speed with a minimum error rate is required.
This is undoubtedly the fastest and simplest way for efficient order picking.
